What to wear to a Tea Party

Some good friends of mine decided to host a lovely tea party in honour of my birthday this weekend. The food was amazing as always and the tea was delicious also. I am very fortunate to have good friends that go out of their way to make my birthday special every year. You know who are, thank you so much!

I picked up this dress at Hot Topic a few weeks ago. It's from their new collection for Pride and Predjudice and Zombies. They do a few special collections a year and this one was pretty cute. If you look really close at the fabric it has little zombies on it. So cute! I couldn't resist it.

Dress: Hot Topic
Shrug: made by me
Boots: Frye
Necklace: Thrifted

And here are a few special birthday gifts:

girl can never have enough Manic Panic

And an Orgon Skull and beautiful hand dyed silk scarf. This is my second piece of Orgon. They are a resin base with bits of copper and crystals. Somehow the mix of metal and crystals together amplify the properties of whatever crystal is used. I find them much stronger than an ordinary crystal. This little skull is made from Black Onyx, Clear Quartz, and Copper.

  1. That dress! So cute! And so much Manic Panic! Yesss!

  2. Birthday?!? Wait, did I miss saying Happy Birthday?!? BOOOO! HISSSS! Bad Professor!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, dear gal! You look absolutely radiant and marvelous. That fabric is wonderful!

  3. The youngest just told me the other day we finally got a Hot Topic in Calgary! I think I need a trip to the city for some new t-shirts. lol

That dress is wonderful - the fabric! Sounds like your BD trip to Arizona was amazing. That was a sweet present. :)

  4. That fabric is too funny! :D I hope you had a fabulous birthday.

  5. Happy belated birthday!
It's always weird seeing a fellow Halloween addict celebrating in spring ;)
